THE REVELLIONS : SIGH’S : 05 JULY 2010 

Forged amidst a haze of frustration and neon lights in the early days of 2006 The Revellions (www.myspace.com/therevellions) have spent the last two years playing to sell out crowds across Europe. Hailing from Dublin they charge ruthlessly through the Psychedelia of the 60’s, the Punk energy of 77 and the amped up Garage of the 80’s beating it all into a fresh sounding Lizard King flashback that perfectly captures the crucial essence of the band.

Debut album ‘The Revellions’ recorded at the infamous Cirrco Perrotti studios in Spain and produced by Jorge Explosion & Mike Mariconda came out on the Dirty Water Record label in 2008 to rave reviews from which the band were invited into the BBC’s Maida Vale studio to record a live session for God’s Jukebox.

Dangerous, moody and as voracious in the studio as they are on stage ‘Sigh’s’ showcases what’s to come from The Revellions second album scheduled for release in late 2010
