These Furrows - Without Manner

Having formed and grown within the affluent yet understated Leicester music scene – an environment that has bred the likes of Kyte and Maybeshewill – These Furrows take on everything from post-hardcore to post-rock to post-punk in a dizzying melee of sound. Such genres are about the only terms you can come close with to defining a sound that is undeniably their own and unequivocally unique.

‘Without Manner’ is the first track to emerge from their forthcoming second EP and is to be released on 28th June. An emotional powerhouse, the track interweaves soaring choruses with intricate, angular guitar work and arresting rhythms and is an ideal introduction into their world.

Their second EP, ‘Faces’, will be released through Underdogs in association with Robot Needs Home later this year, having been recorded by John Helps and the band themselves.

These Furrows most recently supported Fun Lovin’ Criminals on their UK tour, as well as playing a series of sold out dates with Maybeshewill across the UK, garnering further acclaim for their ability to win over even the greatest of cynics. The band have also been confirmed for the main stage of the soon-to-come Summer Sundae festival in Leicester.

These Furrows are tipped by those in the know as forthcoming A&R scrum inviters, ambitions to mini-anthemry deliberately tempered by twisty math-rock guitars, full-on charges and a command of mangled noisy melodyTHE LINE OF BEST FIT
